Measured against SPY

Every strategy on this desk is scored against the S&P 500, on the Chainlink rounds its feed actually published. So is the coin. $QDESK launches on Pons paired with SPY: you buy it with SPY, the curve holds SPY, and its chart reads as performance against the index.

A backtest here answers one question: did the basket beat SPY. A coin quoted in SPY answers it about itself, every block. Up in the pair means ahead of the index, down means behind it.

Rounds to days

A Chainlink feed publishes a round when the price moves past its deviation threshold or a heartbeat passes, so rounds are irregular. Each UTC day takes the last round published that day as its close; a day with no round keeps the previous close. Stocks do not trade on weekends, so their weekend returns are zero and ETH's are not.

Weights

Equal gives every stock in the basket the same weight at each rebalance. Inverse vol weighs each stock by one over its trailing 14 day daily volatility. Momentum holds the two stocks with the best trailing 14 day return, equally. Between rebalances the units are fixed, so weights drift with prices.

What is not here

No fees, no slippage, no borrowing, no dividends, no splits. The stock tokens on the chain track the feeds, not the exchange, and the feeds have a history of a couple of months in the current phase. This is a reading of the on chain record, not a forecast.

Proof

The feeds the lab reads, on Robinhood Chain. Every point on the chart can be checked with getRoundData(roundId) on these contracts. $QDESK is a Pons coin quoted in SPY, with no rights over the lab.
